‘The Dark Room’ poster designed for Fajr festival

Iranian film ‘The Dark Room’ has revealed a poster tailored for latest edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The poster designed by Amir-Hossein Shojaee was released in local media Saturday prior to screening at 36th Fajr Film Festival to be held in February.

The flick directed by Rouhollah Hejazi is taking its final technical stages and will be ready for Fajr fest in coming days.

‘The Dark Room’ stars Sareh Bayat, Saed Soheili, Amir-Reza Ranjbaran, Morvarid Kashian, Mohammad Emami, Reza Ahmadi and Jila Daei, serving as a launch pad for Seyyed Ali-Reza Mirsalari.

A synopsis of the movie reads, “Farhad and Haleh have begun their new season, and this is the beginning of some other changes that will put them new circumstances.

Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 36th edition of the Fajr Film Festival is slated for February 1-11, 2018, in Tehran.
